16:05 - Arrive boat launch, no sign of Peregrines on Beacon or in sky.

16:12 - Single falcon close in West side in and out of tree line behind the boat launch heading W/NW out of sight.

16:14 - Dave arrives at the boat launch.

16:15 - Single falcon comes down towards the slough along the West side turning towards and passing over the boat launch, then circling back to the NW above RT. 14 and the park office meeting a second falcon coming in from the NW.

16:20 - Both falcons disappear behind Beacon heading East over RT. 14 at a level slightly below Beacon's summit.

[Interim involves giving Dave a heads up on various aspects of the monitoring from the boat launch]

16:35 - We head up the Upper Picnic Area to take a look for the falcons that just disappeared to the East side and to show Dave what's up on the East face relative to Raven and Redtail nests and what ledges the falcons frequent.

17:00 - After seeing no signs of the falcons we head back for the boat launch.

17:05 - Back at the boat launch we scan Beacon and the sky but do not see either falcon.

17:15 - A falcon has somehow appeared on the crest of the Big Ledge Scrape (nest) without either of us seeing it arrive. Either we missed its flight to the scrape or it was already down in the scrape and had just popped up onto the rock crest in front of the scrape with is its standard perch when not down in the scrape.

17:20 - The falcon on the crest in front of the scrape has turned his back to us and is much harder to make out as the entire South face is in shade.

17:22 - The falcon has flown from the Big Ledge scrape to the a small ledge between the top of Blownout and Grassy Ledges.

17:25 - End of monitoring session and heading home.
